Sync1 Loan-Origination Integration
REV Federal Credit Union replaced its loan origination system (MeridianLink) with Sync1 under a hard contract-expiry deadline. Funded-loan data created in Sync1 had to flow automatically and safely into the Keystone core banking platform (IBM Db2) and into the BI data lake (SQL Server) for PowerBI reporting. I designed and built a two-service, data-lake-mediated pipeline — the extraction service calls Sync1 via a hybrid REST and GraphQL approach and stages raw payloads; the writer service reads staged funded rows and writes Keystone custom tables through the Keybridge API with read-before-write and change-only semantics. Full production cutover was completed in early June 2026; MeridianLink was disconnected and decommissioned.
